When EPS Logistics Technology were approached to sponsor the kit for a talented district youth footballing side we signed up on the spot.
Swale District brings together boys and girls from across Sittingbourne and Sheppey, a part of Kent that’s closest to our hearts. It’s where we’ve built our own game as a business after all.
Players are selected by fair and open trials following recommendations from local clubs, academies and schools. Those selected play across Kent and SE London on Saturday mornings with home games held at the home ground of non-league Sheppey United.
We’ve sponsoring the new team shirts for the U13 Boys team this season. The side have enjoyed great success in the Kent league having first come together as a group three years ago.
As U11s the team had a great run in the league cup and competed magnificently in the final at Herne Bay. As U12s the boys reached the regional semi-finals of a national competition involving talented youth sides from across the country.
This season, they will not only look the part but will be aiming to go one step further. All of us at EPS will be cheering them on.
Daniel Goodwin from Swale District made the approach to us, saying: “Sponsorship like this for our team is hugely important. Our coaches are volunteers and Swale District itself does not generate money on its own.”
“Only with the support of generous companies like EPS can our teams afford to purchase new kits, new equipment and provide the sporting experience that these very talented young footballers deserve.
“District football brings together the best young footballers from local schools and gives them the opportunity to compete against their peers across Kent and the UK. This would not be possible without the support of EPS and other generous team sponsors.”
